What is a Miser? A miser also known as a cheapskate, curmudgeon, penny pincher, scrooge or tightwad is a person who is who is extremely stingy and reluctant to spend money, sometimes to the point of forgoing even basic comforts and some necessities. Since the financial crisis, economic meltdown, the "Great Recession" or whatever you want to call it… more and more people are becoming misers. Is this a good thing? We think so but the more we save & hoard our money the less is spent to move the economy. That’s why some central banks are printing more money to stimulate the economies of the world. One problem with this solution is that the money you have been saving is now worth less than before and may become worthless!

So now let’s look at money. Over 2,300 years ago, the Greek philosopher Aristotle identified the essential attributes that are necessary for a "good money"… It has to be durable, divisible, portable, and have value in itself. For these reasons Gold & Silver have been used as money for centuries.
